The Bendigo Hotel, home of She Bar, is launching a new entertainment night. Party 4 No Reason, described as 'straight friendly', aims to be a platform for live music, with the venue transformed to reflects the night's ambience.

The event is the brainchild of Linda Pierson, who aims to present different artists each month.

"The entertainment will always be live and the night will always have a different theme," she says.

Party 4 No Reason will be launched on Saturday July 5 with a 70's and 80's theme. Patrons are encouraged to dress up to be in the running for some great door prizes. The entertainment will take a concert format, with support from cover band A La Natural before Tina Turner tribute singer Nikki Desveaux graces the stage. Throughout her career, Desveaux has supported artists as diverse as Thelma Houston, Max Merritt and Riverdance. She promises to deliver a blistering set of Tina Turner classics, including River Deep Mountain High and What's Love Got To Do With It.

"It's tongue-in-cheek stuff, and just an excuse to have a party," says Pierson.
