Katy Perry has already copped a lot of flak for this single. It's about a lame boyfriend who acts 'so gay', and opens with the line 'I hope you hang yourself with your H&M scarf.'

While Perry herself is a harmless two-bit popette, some are understandably miffed that she's singing in support of lynching gay-acting men. Unfortunately, the song's not much cop either.

Incidentally, Katy's next single is called I Kissed A Girl, although she insists she's not interested in women. Because that would be, like, SO gay.
