Rainbow families might like to plan an outing around the ACMI screenings of The Magic Roundabout. Based on the classic 1970's television series, this computer-animated feature sees famous Roundabout characters Brian, Ermintrude, Dylan and Dougal set out on a quest to reverse the onset of winter and return the evil Zeebad to his prison cave.

If that plotline doesn't get you along to the screening, the list of stars lending their voices to the project probably will: Our Kylie gives voice to the character of Florence, naughty lad Robbie Williams plays Dougal and Joanne Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous) and Sir Ian McKellen also get in on the act.

These ACMI sessions are the Australian big screen premiere of the film, so round up the kids and hop along early to avoid disappointment.
