It is always a relief to discover a local dance act who push the boundaries of their genre. That diversity is exactly what to expect from Apocalypso.

There are moments here when The Presets sound like Talking Heads mashed together with 80's Depeche Mode. The results are unbelievably infectious. Tracks like My People could even pass as an offshoot from Depeche Mode's Some Great Reward. 

Even at their most commercial (If I Know You and This Boy's In Love), The Presets still feel quirky and refreshing.
