Now, this is an interesting release. The recognised songwriters and founding members of seminal band The Go-Betweens – Robert Forster and Grant McLennan – have collated the best of their solo stuff on to two albums packaged as one.

For instance, Robert Forster draws on his four previous solo albums with the best on offer including the cool swagger of Falling Star and the earnest I’ve Been Looking for Somebody. Meanwhile Grant McLennan (who chose these 13 songs before he died in May last year) also gently inspires and entertains.
