Home bheadlines Victorian quilt project Victorian quilt project Wednesday, 21 May 2008 Doris Beecher has been elected Convenor of the AIDS Memorial Quilt Project. She is dedicated to continuing the preservation of the Quilt, the fundraising activities and, importantly, the return of Victorian Quilt panels to Melbourne where they belong (not in Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum). She requests that anyone who made panels at any time from the late 1980s through to the mid-1990s to please contact her at VAC to can ensure the panel records are complete.
