The Campaign for Civil Unions held a rally at the ACT Legislative Assembly Saturday calling for the ACT Government to stand firm in support of the original version of the legislation. Spokesperson Rebecca Leighton said the CCU would prefer the ACT Government risked the overturn of the Civil Partnerships Bill, rather than cave in to federal pressure and remove the ceremonial aspect.
